hi Martin,
thanks again for your hard work implementing these!

To quote Stephen Taverner at BGG:
"the first copies of the rings came with 37 rings, and the basic
victory condition was 3w, 4g, 5b or 2 of each. The game also included
the tournament game, which was 4w, 5g, 6b or 3 of each.
With later editions, the number of rings increased to 48, and the old
tournament game became the standard."

Have you tried playing matches against the bots at boardspace?
I think Zertz is just too tough to get a good AI for though...
However, I would be interested to see the first move win codified;
The link at http://www.livejournal.com/users/qarl/8864.html
has some more details, do you have any more Lyman?
In UI issues, I found that the game forgot the players that I
assigned, and didn't remember them even when I switched to Dvonn?
The Dvonn random boards didn't seem very random, lots of blocks of
same coloured pieces which is very unusual when on littlegolem.

I'd really like a good AI, I use ZF1 for analysis...
However, if you could add a third game; Gipf with potentials (and the
chance to play subgames of Z/D), that would be a first I believe and
could interest quite a few people...
all the best,
James
