At this point I am literally (I mean literally) holding my Treo 650 together
with tape so I can keep using it until Verizon starts selling the Android.  I am
about ready to download the Linux SDK so I can load my own apps on it on Day 1.

Java appears to be the preferred language.  What would be the most likely
starting point for an existing code base to port for the above-mentioned
applications?
