will be under adults' supervision during the
tournament.<br>DATES: Saturdays, 7/14, 7/21,7/28,8/4,8/11,8/18<br>Time
Format: Game/25 min<br>First Round starts at 10 a.m. 2nd
- 11 a.m., 3rd - 12 a.m. 4th - 1 p.m. 5th - 2
p.m.<br>Closing ceremony 3 p.m. Trophies: overall and grades.
Grand-Prix Trophies overall and grades based on scores in
best three tournaments.<br><br>Saturdays Scholastic
MASTERS Only (K-12)<br>(For students with rating over
1000) NOT RATED<br>4 rounds; G/40;
10,11:30,1:00;2:30.<br>This tournament is designed for training purposes. A
good place to practice new openings and
tactics.<br>Selected games/openings review by an expert.<br>No
trophies; Same Dates; Mandatory: Clocks (please bring if
you have one) and game recording.<br><br>Day Program:
(Grades K-6)<br>Time: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm; 1/2 day to 1:00
pm<br>Invited: Complete Beginners, Beginners, and Intermediate
players (up to 900 WS rating)<br>Up to 12 students per
group.<br>Weeks: July 9-13; July 16-20; July 30-August 3; August
13-17; August 20-24;<br>The program's goal is to provide
children with the opportunity to play chess with friends
and have light instruction in a relaxed
environment.<br>Schedule will include: Chess games, Puzzles, Instructions,
workshops, bughouse games, and other
