Hopped on and joined here in hopes to locate some players locally and to network

Atlanta's Rise of the Imperator Results
Stone Mountain, Georgia
Saturday May 9th, 2009
12 players
2 R + F

Winning Player: David Quinonero-Santiago
Winning Clan: Nosferatu (three Nosferatu decks in the finals + 2
Tremere)
Key Minion: Sheldon, Lord of the Clog
Imperator Nominee: Sheldon, Lord of the Clog

Finalists:

David Q., Nosferatu Princes, Group 1/2, 2 GW / 7 VP
      featuring Sheldon, Selma, Nikolaus Vermuelen
Danielle N., Tremere Princes, Group 4/5, 2 GW / 6 VP
featuring Gerald Windham and Orlando Oriundus
David L., Nosferatu Princes & Friends, Group 2/3, 1 GW / 4 VP
featuring Cock Robin and Casino Reeds
Jeff T., Fidus & Rock Cats, Group 1/2, 1 GW / 2 VP
      featuring Fidus and Thomas Thorne
David T., Nosferatu & Greensleeves, Group 4/5, 0 GW / 2 VP

Seating in the Finals:

Group 1/2 Nosferatu Princes
Tremere Princes
Fidus & Rock Cat
Group 2/3 Nosferatu Princes & Friends

With three different sets of Nosferatu, the Consanguineous Boons in
the Sheldon & Greensleeves decks bloated the Cock Robin deck
horrendously. He had 20+pool and 6 large minions before the game
timed out.

How would you like to see White Wolf's website evolve?

--------------------
Dear Members of the World of Darkness Community,

As a community matures, so should the infrastructure and facilities that support
it. We are currently in the process of examining and evaluating ways to create a
modern, technologically sound community destination for The Camarilla and The
Elder Kindred Network. A quick fix would be to upgrade to a contemporary content
management system, but our goal is to go beyond that. It is important to us that
the solution we choose offers state-of-the-art features and, more importantly,
caters specifically to the needs of our communities. This is a time consuming
process, and it is our intent to keep the community updated on our progress.

We understand that the community as whole is anxious for migration to a more
robust system, and we wish to extend our most sincere thanks to our volunteers
and to the community in general for its continued understanding.

Sincerely,

Shane K. DeFreest
World of Darkness Community Developer

V:TES Hall of Fame

To enter the V:TES Hall of Fame, a player has to win a minimum of five
tournaments, and those tournaments must have had their results posted on the
Usenet newsgroup rec.games.trading-cards.jyhad for inclusion in the Tournament
Winning Deck Archive. Many amazing players will be missed because of the absence
of those public results. This list celebrates those who have done well with the
game, and have worked to publicize the strengths of the game by publishing their
tournament winning deck lists. Players are listed by the number of tournaments
that they have won, and if there is a tie for the number of tournament wins,
then they are in alphabetical order by their first name. See the TWDA FAQ for

Eden's Legacy
VTES Fall 2009 Storyline Event

For centuries the Royal Order of Edenic Groundskeepers conducted their
clandestine research. Slowly, carefully, they built their maps, documenting in
detail the secret resting places of the world's Antediluvians and Methuselahs.
The members of the order have gathered the secrets of their forbearers and the
world's greatest trove of Kindred lore. Recently, several scholars of the order
mysteriously disappeared while researching a site near Mombasa. Teams of strange
Kindred have appeared in cities around the world to abduct the remaining members
of the order and claim their research. It has become clear that the secret
society had been penetrated or betrayed.

As the secret of the Edenic Groundskeepers is revealed, the world's Methuselahs
realize their sudden peril, and the opportunities before them. The clandestine
struggle for control of the information unearthed by the order begins. Some of
the Methusleahs are motivated by the desire for the secrets to remain hidden.
Others are motivated by knowledge and the chance to learn the secrets of the
Edenic Groundskeepers. Some Methuselahs see the order's trove as the key to
victory in the great Jyhad. Others view it as instrumental to Gehenna itself.

Only when the fate of the order has been determined, and the reasons behind
their betrayal and abduction are revealed, will the Methuselahs come to
understand Eden's Legacy.

There are an absurd number of unreported mini-qualifier and qualifier events.

Has your event been reported?

Erol Öngün and Ferenc Vasadi join the V:TES Hall of Fame with five tournament
wins.

http://www.thelasombra.com/hall_of_fame.htm

See the TWDA FAQ for
more information about appearing in this list yourself in the future.
