Good evening all.

Has anyone used VM to game battles in Middle Earth using 28mm figures?

As there is little magic in Tolkien's books, would VB be more suitable?

I am looking for suitable rules for large battles which can be
finished in a reasonable time and feel that rules using bases as the
basic unit rather than GW's own mass skirmish type games which take
far too long to resolve.

Any thoughts/suggestions?
