I'm not sure how many people took it it but as the guy who cam up with
the original idea it is
4 ranks for CO foot (about 15 per rank)
3 ranks or a tight mob for OO foot (12 per rank or aprox 36 figures for
the mass0
2 ranks or a dispersed formation (about 20-24 figs) for SO
I tend to base trained troops (ie romans) in lines and untrained troops
(ie gauls) in random formations
for cav its
2 ranks of 9 for CO
1 rank of 8 with a rank of 7 behind for OO (again with a mass as an
option for untrained troops)
I rank or a dispersed formation for SO cav
