Felix just stepped off the transporter pad, coming back from the Capella after
the staff meeting that he attended. "Hulps, he's a thick headed man" Felix
sighed walking along with his executive officer.

"Well he is leading this taskforce out to that Warbird, sir" Hulps explained,
briskly walking along side.

"Yeah, and we are the unlucky ones who get to go along for the ride. Have the
stellar cartography lab prepare a readout on the sectors we'll traveling
through, I want to know every inch of dust in each of them personally by the
time we are ready to depart" Felix ordered, stopping at the turbolift entrance,
allowing the turbolift to be called.

"You know sir, I do not believe that this mission will be anything more than a
cake walk, the Romulans would have already rescued the ship. We do not know if
they are even planning to use us as bait to start a new war; that somehow seems
doubtful" Hulps was cut off at the arrival of the turbolift.

"Bridge" Felix commanded, placing his hand in the doorway so it wouldn't close.
"I have got a funny feeling about this, at least he agrees the Romulans are up
to something. Just get those files I asked for, and bring them to my readyroom"
Felix said, allowing the doors to shut.

"Enter" Felix called out, after the door chime went off and in stepped his
tactical officer, First Lieutenant Daniels.

"Colonel" Daniels said, snapping to attention for only a moment. "Here is the
new tactical assessment, for the mission" He said handing the padd to his
Commanding officer.

Felix gave the padd a cursory glance, and threw it on his desk. "Hmm, we've
lost our aft phaser coverage is now gone, and we've lost a rear launcher. Not
off to a good start, but I guess we'll be able to rely on Capella for assistance
so it should make up for the loss. Is their anything else Lieutenant" Felix
asked, looking up and leaning back in his chair.

"No sir, that was all I wanted to give you" The Lieutenant said, again going to
stand at attention, preparing to get dismissed.

"Dismissed" Felix said waving his hand in a gesture towards the door. As the
Lieutenant exited the executive officer appeared and crossed the threshold from
the bridge to the readyroom before the door shut.

"The files that you requested sir" Hulps announced
