((Main Bridge - USS Columbia))

::Most of the senior officers had stepped onto the bridge as the
Columbia prepared for her arrival at StarBase 118. This was the
moment that they knew would be coming. Although everyone had been
aboard StarBase 118 before, this would be the first time that they
would be arriving here and then calling it home.::

::The tremendous starbase filled up the main viewer as the Columbia
was but a few kilometers away. Captain Avatar gave the order to begin
docking procedures.::

AVATAR: Standby automatic approach system ... Tash, advise approach
control.

STARBASE: =/\=Columbia is cleared to dock.=/\=

AVATAR: Lieutenant Barlow, lock all systems.

BARLOW: response

::The bridge lights of the Columbia changed to a shade of blue,
indicating that they were now on automatic control.::

STARBASE: =/\=Affirmative, Columbia. Enjoy the ride, and welcome home.

::The Columbia began to glide her way inside of the spacedoors. Upon
entry, several ships were visible on the viewscreen. There was a
Steamrunner Class ship that had seen her share of battle. Captain
Avatar recognized her as the USS Phoenix. The Phoenix was once the
primary support vehicle for StarBase 118 under the command of Captain
Malcolm Lysander.::

AVATAR: That's the Phoenix. She was damaged during the defense and
re-taking of the starbase. NCC-65403-C...the "B" ship was once
commanded by Admiral Wolf himself.

::Another ship was also visible. This ship was a Saber Class. The
Saber was a smaller vessel, but not without teeth.::

AVATAR: Never been aboard a Saber...I wonder who's ship that one is.

interrupted by the communications officer at the starbase.::
