((Shuttle - Team Thomas))

 

::As the shuttle docked safely with the Ursa Major, every member of his

team was visibly relieved.  On board they carried an explosive device

capable of sealing the rift.  The deployment and the nature of their

mission weighed heavily on their shoulders.  Kael as glad he did not have

to deliver the payload::

 

::Kael powered down the systems, his operation staff and engineers would

oversee the data download.  In the mean time, Kael was eager to get back

to work.  Being the first to exit the shuttle, Kael noticed Commander

Solan awaiting them::

 

SOLAN: Commander, good to see you back and safe.

::As the commander spoke, the other members of his team also exited

the shuttle::

::Solan nodded at the other members of the team.::

THOMAS: Thank you sir. 

SOLAN: I take it there were no major problems?

THOMAS: No Sir, everything went as we expected.  It will all be in my report.

SOLAN: Good to hear. Everything went fairly smooth on this end as
well.

THOMAS: I hear you had a rather eventful time.  You will have to fill me in.

But for now commander, I'd like to debrief and get some rest.

 

ANYONE/SOLAN: Response

 

THOMAS: Yes sir.  Thank you.

 

::With his orders, he headed on his way to his quarters, He had early duty

shift in the morning, and he had plenty of work yet to be done.  ::
