The triangles are doors
The rectangles are windows.

What are the double ended arrows ? Are they stairs ?

There is a double ended arrow inside a circle on page 44. Is that an elevator ?

I must admit though, I kinda cheated by forgetting to use the Pitiful Shot rule
and just considering any roll of 6 a hit, even when the actual score is 9 rather
than the 10 I thought it was. That's what happens when your 2 Hour Wargame lasts
4.5 hours... And divided into 2 days separated by a month. lol

I keep getting distracted by my family watching TV in the same room.

You really need these rules. I'm not kidding, these are the funnest rules I may
have ever played. I am completely freaked and geeked about this game, and THW
in general. I've become a THW junkie in a very short time period.

Thanks Colin. I really enjoy reading other players batreps so much, it can be
so inspirational and I learn a lot too. I finally decided to try my own blog a
while back in case our idiotic adventures could provide amusement for someone
else. I was surprised how easy it was.

Ed,
I am assuming that you bring a good supply of goodies to sell at the cons. Will
you have ATH for sale at MAG CON? Oh, and I want SGS too.

Of course! Where is the best place to post it at TMP? Or do you mean you will?

The Thanksgiving Z-Day +1 game we did this morning was really juicy and really
showcases what craziness can happen in ATZ, I will post it tomorrow also.

Vampires terrorizing your town?
Call us!

It's been almost twelve weeks since your own personal nightmare took place.
Looking back, it's hard to believe it really happened. When most people come
face to face with a supernatural creature (we call them monsters) they run. They
also die. Not you. For some reason you fought back. Fought back and killed it.

I guess you could consider that your interview.

Anyway, it was only a matter of days before they approached you in the hospital
about working for the Company. Smooth talking operators, with money to burn, you
fell for their pitch. After all, did you expect you'd be able to return to the
nine to five grind once you found out that nightmares are real?

Origins is the introduction to All Things Horror. The first of two books that
brings all the nightmares to life. Vampires, werewolves, ghouls, etc. Go down
the list, the All Things Horror series has them all. But that's another story
for another time. Because right now...

This is about you and it's about now.

You're a highly trained monster killer. You work for a high paying, highly
secret private company, whose job it is to kill monsters. Vampire terrorizing
your town? Call us. Bad case of the walking dead? We're on it. Get the idea?
Good? Now grab your gear and get going "newbie".

It's party time!

Origins - ATH is compatible with All Things Zombie. NUTS!, and other THW
products. It's a complete rules set that introduces you to the Company with a
full blown scenario. Origins is the first of the two book All Things Horror
series.

Nice batrep! Sounds like it was a lot of fun. I have to try this with my

We got up this morning, had breakfast, and then decided that we were going back
into that town to loot some buildings and the gunshop. I really had my eye on
that fuel truck too. The great news was when we asked Mom if she was in, she
said hell yes. You know a game is great when Mom is on the hook.
We didn't quite get to finish it because I had to get to work, but I will say
this; it was spectacular. We will finish it tomorrow and I will post another
batrep.
ATZ is the coolest game ever.

That's not the rule.

Impact is in the rules but you're not seeing it.
Go to the Melee Table and read the list of modifiers.
"-1d6 if have a lower Impact weapon."

The first time you actually melee you should go down the list of modifiers and
"BAM" there it is.
Hope this helps,
Ed

The rules mention 'talking the talk' being an option if you activate first. I
have a leader with rep 4, enemy has a leader with rep 5. In the roll for
activation, I get a '3' and they get '6', meaning they rolled higher, but
effectively, I will be the one going first.

Does that mean I'm the one 'activating first' for the purpose of talking the
talk?
