I actually had the impression that all the stats were balanced nice and evenly.  But Perception really does seem to be the most commonly used attribute with skills, now that you mention it.

I did wonder how often I would be rolling certain skills, though -- but that really depends on the sort of game the GM runs.  Trade Wars games might use those skills more than Star Wars games.
