This group is dedicated to Armchair Generals, a homebrewed wargame focused on 54mm (1/32nd-scale) toy soldiers. The rules are intended for the horse-and-musket era, and can cover massive battles such as those from the Napoleonic Wars in Europe to small battles such as those from the War of 1812 in America. The mechanics are meant to be easy to use and fast, for battles fought in the space of an afternoon and a six-pack.

The rules are available in separate, full-color PDF files that can be downloaded. You can find them in the Files section of this group. While the game has been professionally produced, it's not meant for sale or re-sale. It's meant for everyone's enjoyment. Creating these rules has been a labor of love -- of toy soldiers and beer. My hope is to create a community where folks can talk toy soldiers, beer and hopefully this game.
