OOC: The old man chuckled to himself and then realized his error. He had heard
voices in the wind, two distinct voices, one from long ago a companion, a fellow
storyteller of note who had once been active in the circle and who it appeared
had whispered an inquiry, another also a storyteller, though of more recent
vintage.

Still chuckling to himself he smiled as his thoughts churned and he realized
that one voice may have mistook his words as a continuation of a story once told
around the fire, a story of Kalesh and his companions that lamentably has been
idle for too long. I should have indicated ‘OOC – Out Of Character’ he thought
as he casually poked at the fire to stir it’s embers, still waiting for his old
time friend and storyteller to respond, while his furry companion scolded him
for such an obvious mistake.

‘Yes, yes...I know’ he responded as he waited for more words upon the wind...

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death
that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And
when it is gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear
has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.
Litany against Fear from the Bene Gesserit rite, Frank Herbert's - DUNE
