this may be a low-volume mailing list, sporting only the odd
post of any real substance (like that one a coupla weeks back
detailing the chronicle of one guy's near-ascension - I haven't
had a moment to put aside to thank you for sharing that one with
us mate, cheers!) but I prefer the infrequent on-topic post like
that to your pathetic spam

(now, to the humans-who-aren't-spamming-scumbuckets who are
still reading): I'm sorry it took a reject like this to make me
put aside time for a second post, and sorry as well because that
fanfic I had in the works has really been pushed to the bottom
of the pile lately, so to speak... the good news (as far as
NetHack goes lol) is that my lil bro is playing it now too :)
I'm actually opening a business very soon (within the week, if
all goes as planned) and most of my time there will be spent on
a puter (yay lol) so yeah maybe will get time then ;)

I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to real writing tho
(yeah, even a lowly fanfic) so I dun know when it'll be - but it
isn't given up :)

I was going to have screenshots with it too, showing his
inventory and location (with tiles).. and have his items
renamed so they fit in with the story... and yes I am actually
basing this on a game of NetHack, actually playing the game then
forming the story around what has happened, so if my character
dies he'll die in the story too.... but I'm going to play
pretty defensively so hopefully that won't be an issue lol

gotta go now, it's 5am and I need to catch some winks before I
hafta get up at about 11 for another shift at the
internet/gaming place I help out at ;)
