Re: [The Morrow Project] Re: Survive and expand

I have a friend back home in the Quad Cities who has a barrel like that.
And yeah he is of a survivalist mind set too.

Sincerely,
Steve

Thank you all, mp's mates for your useful advices,

I have suscribed to two survivalists* yahoo groups were I have found more
useful infos, for examples references about the Foxfire books quoted by our
friendly member "Hawk".
Here the link to the best in my opinion:

Morrow Project, it seems, tried to fulfill a real simulationist approach in
a post apocalyptic roleplaying game. 30 years later, I reckon I still admire
their original concept and their very challenging approach, with Call of
Cthulhu, it is the most challenging game I played.

I wonder if the creators of FALLOUT (1&2&tactic) were inspirated by Morrow
Project ?

Also my advice to all postapocalyptic nerds is to try the computer FPS
"STALKER, shadow of tchernobyl" : a very immersing game where you can
litterally
"smell" the odor of radioactivity (!)

Sweet dreams to you all !

* disclaimer: I selected non political survivalist yahoo groups as I don't
like racial prejudice which is sometimes associated to survivalism.
