I don't know about files, but a lot will depend on the technology of
what you're encountering and the fuel being used. but think of the
joy to be gained from the following types of fuel (g)
alcohol
wind - mechanical or electrical
water - mechanical or electrical
wood
dung!
peat
coal/lignite (coal gas?)
other burnables (heather, bracken, etc)
There are so many things to use out there that you can decide for
yourself. For instance, approaching a village, you can smell
something smoky. It isn't wood smoke. On the moors you can see
what look like piles of stones. On closer examination they are
stones covering piles of turf (peat) - etc.
Or the simplicity of wood: As you approach the farm house, you can
see large quantities of split logs piled up against one side of the
barn. It is four feet wide and eight high, under the overhang of the
roof.
You can figure out the glorious aroma's and the wide pavements of
drying dung for yourself, mate (btw drying cow dung is an excellent
way of creating potholes in tarmac).

Hello fellow mps,
I am working on my own Morrow Project Campaign and I would be glad
to
find any technic files about the easiest ways to produce
electricty, heat and basic and essential things like SOAP, COAL..
in order to propose this technics to the players, as MP is meant
to be realistic, I think implementing some facts will add to the
roleplay atmosphere.
Thank you.
Look for the "Foxfire" series of books.
