Well, I decided to try applying for doing some speaking events at Furry
Connection North. They put a very clear warning that they can't take all
suggestions and need to insure variety for their programming and thus, to not be
upset if your suggestion wasn't taken.

So I threw in 2 ideas in hopes that I would have one chosen and didn't
expect much. Much later they asked for a longer description. So I happily
burbled on about what I'd like to cover and forgot about it again. Not very
long after that I heard from Basil that they liked them both!

SO! I am hoping I'll manage to do a good job of it. As it stands we will
be at Furry Connection North April 24th to 26th with our booth and I will be
giving talks on Anthros in Anime and Girls and Gaming. I want to get Girls and
Gaming to be a 2 hour or 2 section event so that I can have a girls only segment
and then a mixed group segment. Men and women do express different things when
in segregated groups than when in mixed groups. So I expect women will be able
to discuss more minute on how girls can improve their gaming from the viewpoint
of other girls which will not occur if there are guys around.

But it will be exciting nonetheless. We will also be at PenguiCon and
MichiCon AT THE SAME TIME! Rob is taking on the MichiCon challenge while
Anthony and I will be working in the dealer's room and game room at PenguiCon.

PenguiCon is May 1-3, 2009 and MichiCon is May 1-2, 2009. This wasn't
intentional but MichiCon's date got moved by Oakland University and with that
you get what you get since it's a college that enjoys catering to big
corporations. O.U. makes me appreciate my alma mater more which actually DID
cater to the students although it had ties to the community. (You might have
problems getting pool time that wasn't overloaded with townies but student org's
got a lot of consideration in requests for rooms.) But I digress.

We will also be at Media West Con again this year. Which is
May 22-25, 2009. It's hard to remember the PenguiCon is at the start of May
this year instead of the end of April but such is the movement of the calendar.
We need to get the taxes finished (which is in progress and will hopefully be
done next Friday). After which we will be able to start reworking the Business
Plan properly.

We plan to approach Northern Michigan Anime Con, JAFAX, ConClave, and
YoumaCon still for this year. but those are for a little later. Be well out
