Well, I woke up this morning feeling like a scientist from
Jurassic Park. I talked to a bunch of people at ConFusion and know
how many slots I had to fill and I think I keep counting the slots
instead of the actual number of people. 0.o
SO if you KNOW you were on the invite list contact us here. As
is, things got a little screwy with the logistics. We were going to
have 2 tables at PenguiCon which means a staff of at least 8 people.
While if we had just the Dealer's Room the reserved staff of 5 would
be too much.
But due to the new hotel there isn't much room in the divided
section where gaming has been placed for us to even set one up. The
room with the games library can only really hold three tables. And
one has to be for the games library itself.
So we will be watching the games library and running some events
in the games room. And the games room will NOT be 24 hours this year
so no one will be dying between shifts.
But since we are not able to have 2 tables we will be spliting
forces and going to MichiCon that weekend as well. But now that I
have some big to-do's off of my list and can focus...I'm back to not
knowing who all is coming! So hopefully, as I am bad with names, the
people are signed up here as they were supposed to be and will be
ready to get in touch.
PenguiCon:
Dealer's Room: Carina, Girl with dice belly button ring jewelry,
Doug McGraw, Anne Z.,
Games Library Room: Pirates guy-hey, you get to run Pirates! :D,
Anthony-you get to run a Magic Tournament and
Fluxx,
Pirate guy's wife-Watch games library like hawk
Belly button ring jewelry girl's guy-same.
Artist's Alley?: Chris Curran
(Why is it people can get whole paragraphs of
description from my head but not the lable 'Sam' or 'Marcy"?)
MichiCon: Rob Barry
It would probably be a good idea for us to send someone out to
assist Rob so he can have bathroom breaks and do food runs. But we
will see what response we get.
Today's Question: If we opened our doors today, do you think a
games/anime store would survive the current economic upheavals?
