01/29 I've uploaded 3 new files - 2 floors and 1 wall. "Stabian
Stucco" is a Roman stucco wall found in the ruins of the Stabian
Baths at Pompeii. It's a bit grey in color but has some nice swirl
and floral accents. "Pinwheel" is a multi-colored flooring in the
shape of a classic child's pinwheel. "Clubs R Wild" is a black and
white mosaic that's very cury and feminine - to me atleast.
02/02 Rhianna, has uploaded 2 new files - 1 floor, 1 wall. The
floor: "White Blades" is a STONE mosaic, all 3 repeats available, of
white, maroon and black colors. $1 per piece, as always. The
Wall: "Andromeda" is a single panel mural. The preview shot is a bit
scrunched up looking but it does look better in the game. It's found
under PAINT and costs $1 as well.

Crystal Clear Sims (formerly Linda's Glamour Sims) is a one stop
downloading shop for everything needed for The Sims and Sims2. The
site is run by a large staff with MissKelly as the Webmaster of both
sections of the web site. A complete list of administrators,
creators, featured artist and  guest artist can be found at the

The Sims section of the website is fairly small, but there are a few
skins for men, women and children; plus there are complete furniture
sets as well as walls, floors and decor that will complete several
rooms.

On the other hand, the Sims2 section is filled with complete
colorized sets, theme sets, build objects, indoor and outdoor decor,
terrain as well as pets and pet accessories. Not only are their
simple recolors in a variety of shades, but they also have sets upon
sets of  many creative patterns and textures for every room of the
house and the outdoor patio.

Crystal Clear Sims is one of the few Sims2 websites where I've seen a
large variety of skins for all members of the family.  From casual,
to swimsuit, to formal, to sleepwear, there's something lovely,
creative, and  fun for everyone. And your females can bring sparkle
to their look with large shining earrings or colored shades.

This site has a lot of great downloads, but there is more to find.
For the Sim crafter, there are a couple of tutorials on coloring
objects and making object meshes, plus there are tutorials to help
the regular player enhance their homes and lots.  Not only that, but
there are a variety of lots and a section of mothly themes like
Valentine's Day, School Daze, Autumn and Halloween where you can find
a collection of matching furnishing, decor and skins.

I really like Crystal Clear Sims, both their The Sims and Sims2
section, but I must admit that I had a difficult time navagating.
Seems I always had to return to the section home page to move on to
another area or use the back arrow. Also, there was some formatting
problems, complete sentences or graphics running into each other, but
this may be due to compatibility in browsers (the site is hosted by
Yahoo and I'm still using IE6) so I wouldn't hold that against them.
It's just a warning on my part.

group's PreRelease folder. This buffet table uses Maxis graphic
(combining the Tropical Flower Arrangement center piece from the blue
table with the white table cloth of the original table) but functions
a bit differently. It's dubbed the "All You Can Eat table because it
serves unlimited plates, charging per plate (there is no
initial  "Fill" Fee), until the table spoils. When the buffet is not
set the table acts as one of our functioning sideboards, encouraging
sims to ignore counters and serve meals on it, instead. NO EP is
required and Object Makers will be happy to know that this buffet
table has only two graphic states (Empty and Filled)

hate that fact that the only sim that can fix items on a business lot
is the lot's owner? Wouldn't it be nice if you could assign an
employee to do the maintenance chores on a business lot? If you
answered yes to these questions, the employee maintenance controller
may be right for you!  This controller will turn any OFB business
employee into a maintenance person. The employee will repair any
broken items on the lot. If there are no broken items to repair, the
employee will spend their time mopping the floor. You can find it
under Business Facilitators here: Under Sims 2 Objects.
Object Update: Playable Maid Controller. There was a bug where the
maid would show up twice in the same hour if your house did not need
cleaning. Version 1.1 of the controller corrects this.

Hello members,

I just received an email at my Hotmail account from a member saying
that he cannot get into The FantaSim Tales. He was asking if there
was a problem with the link with my special notice, but he did not
tell me exactly what happened when he clicked the link. He only
wrote "It keeps telling me No No No!", so I'm assuming that he's
getting the IE default "page not found" page.

I checked my link because my fingers love playing little tricks on
me, but I didn't make any mistakes, and the site loaded just fine.

I did get a comment form a few days ago where someone was having a
similar problem, not able to get into the site. I mentioned IE
version 7 to her, and sure enough that's what she's using with
WindowsXP. I'm still working with Windows '98 and IE6 is my browser,
(I'm currently working on an WindowsME with IE6) and so I think
there's some compatibility issues going on here.

When IE6 was released, there were many problems throughout the
industry until Microsoft and other companies figured out what was
going on and adjusted accordingly. I remember I was still using
Yahoo's Pagebuilder as an online html editor, and even though I had
no problems because I was still using IE5, other users were
complaining that their accounts disappeared when it was simply an
incompatiblity issue with IE6.

Okay, so what should I do?  The person who wrote me wants to view the
elves and the ridable horses and I can tell that they are serious
about having them in their game. I could send everything via email,
and even though those are a LOT of files, it can be done. But what
about everyone else who cannot view the pages?

I could upload the files to a Yahoo group's website, but like I wrote
above, those ARE A LOT of files. Uploading many files to a website
via FTP in a matter of minutes is one thing; uploading those same
files to a Yahoo group one file at a time is something completely
different. I really don't feel up to doing that, at least not right
now.

The other solution is, if you have upgraded to IE7 and you believe
this is the problem, I suggest you return to IE6. OR did you know you
can have two browsers on your computer? Yes, browsers are not large
files, so maybe you can have both version 6 and version 7?

Anyway, I wanted some feedback. If you're having problems let me know
exactly what's going on, and what operation system/browser you are
currently using, and I'd appreciate any suggestions. If you read all
of this anyway, and you're not having problems, let me know.

Remember that since the group closed, if you respond to this message,
it will not appear in the message board or go out to the group, the
messages will only go directly to my email inbox. Or you can reach me

Hello members!

I'm so sorry that there hasn't been any updates these last couple of
weeks, but Tammy has been ill and now it seems that she has to get
ready for a big move to a new state! So please send out some good
mental vibes her way.

Well, I've been very busy between writing new tutorials for the
Tutorials group, and creating for both The FantaSim Tales and Sim
Lots, and now I have some new things for your The Sims game. Plus, on
top of that, I finally took some time to write the next chapter to
the Survival Sims story (remember the Survival Sims game that we
played beginning June of 2004, we played the first three days and
then I lost web connection which through me very behind?).

There are new Santa's Elf families in all three skin tones, and I've
brought back the ridable Winged Unicorn, Flying Pegasus and Reindeer.
Also I hope you'll enjoy reading Survival Sims 4.

Oh, btw, did you know about the winter theme windows and Angel rug
and tapestry?

11/16 - Pets Recolors and a Maxis Fix! Hello everyone! By request,
There are quite a few new re-colors for Pets available, including re-
colors of the dog house, cheap pet pillow, and litter box. This is
just the start though, there will be many more re-colors coming soon.
You can get what's been made so far on the new Pets Objects page. The
other new thing is a fix made for some Glamour Life Stuff objects. It
appears that Maxis forgot to enable all of the objects from Glamour
Life Stuff to be fully usable by Pets, and this hack fixes that. You
can get it on the Sims 2 Hacks page.

11/14 Thanks to the help from here good friend Claudia of  Sim
Pegasus, Rogue knows now how to correctly make food for the Sims!
YAY!!!!! She showed her the correct way of cloning the Maxis turkey
in order to make new food, so now thanks to her, we can have an array
of new food for the Sims!  Rougue has uploaded the first of many to
come food items - a Tray of Cheese,  just alittle while ago. The next
food item to come will be Cream  Puffs. If you guys have any
suggestions on food you'd like to see created for your Sims to enjoy,
just let her know through a post in the group and She says she'll do
her best to make it for you all!
11/11 Rougue has been testing and has uploading some Thanksgiving
items. She hopes you like. The objects include: 2 turkeys - cloned
from the maxis doll house, so they can be played with, 7 small
decorative gourds, cornucopia, a large gourd & a large pumpkin -
cloned from the dorm sculpture - so its compatible with deluxe &
above expansion packs --- the Autumn painting is cloned from a Sims 1
painting, & the Indian Corn is cloned from Mistletoe - so it requires
Hot Date or above expansion packs...
11/09 Rougue wanted to let you all know she has gotten the final part
of the 1 Year Anniversary gift up a moment ago - the final 5 objects
include a world globe, floor lamp, purple roses in a vase, an antique
style end table & a painting of a beautiful tree house with an
antique style frame. All 5 items were made with items from the
original sims game so whether you  have none or all expansion packs
you should be able to use them in your game. P.S. I'm not sure if I
or Val mentioned to you that we're working on a forum for the SFC -
its nearly finished. The forum will make conversation a lot easier.

I have added some new items that I basically made for my own use but
thought I would share. There are three new rugs, Black Cat, Pumpkin,
and Witchy, they come in three sizes 2x2, 3x3 and 4x4. There are also
4 new walls with two matching floors for each, that go with the rugs.
Easy to find in the files section under todays date, the pictures for
each are also there.
