I think I replied to this a while back, but I never showed up. Sorry
if anybody gets this twice.
We'd love to have you, however, we now use
http://www.desertrealm.com/forum to roleplay. Please sign up an
account there. If you need help getting started, either myself or
one of the mentors would be happy to help you. :)

---Moses wakes up from his slumbers again. He could have sworn that
he had heard some one talking. But as he looked about, there was no
one there. He was still alone in the Desert.
So curling up once more he goes to sleep. Hoping that some day he
will awaken to find people around once more.

We have about 4-5 players now. I'm looking for another 5 or so
players to help keep the story going.
If you're interested go to http://www.desertrealm.com and click on

---Moses must have slept a very long time for when he awoke , the
town was empty. None of his friends remained and none of the toens
people ether. Moses shook his head sadly then rolled over and went
back to sleep.

If anybody still gets these messages, please let me know if you are
interested in reviving this club/group.
I have a much better forum that doesn't have many of the limitations
that this has (many threads, avatars, emoticons, etc).
If you are interested, go to www.desertrealm.com/forum
If I can get at least 1-2 people to help revive the club, I'll
revive it there (hopefully more). A lot of you had a good time over
the past few years posting messages in your character of choice. I
think it would be cool to resume that.
This Yahoo Group is pretty much dead. If you're not interested in
the new forum, please unsubscribe here. Once everybody has either
switched or unsubscribed, I'll probably delete this group.
Thanks,
Brian (Azkul)
PS When you sign up, some of the questions might not mean much to
you. A group of people are using the forum as a means of
communicating about a certain game that is completely unrelated to
The Desert Realm. Those questions are related to that game (just
put in random info, if it requires info from you.)
Trinity Longhorn stands upon the rock outcropping and gazes out
across the swirling sand that stretches to the horizon. His thoughts
drift to old friends, to times of not only battle but of the beauty
of wolves. To dreams of what could have been and what might yet be.
The hot arid air becons him to enter
Sorry Azkul...... It was a good group but I guess what with school
and everything and RL everyone has been busy and hasn't gotten on.
It's really kind of dissapointing considering it was a really good
club... but alot of the real main people (Shanice, Catacomb, Shivan,
Storm are pretty much gone off to their own thing. Most of them
announced there departure, others stayed and just left eventually.
Hi all. Sorry I haven't posted in a while but I want to say though
the new yahoo groups thing is nifty, I would say I prefer the original
style....... what do you all think?
Moses lay down, out side, on the boardwalk. He did not like the strange smells
to be found inside of these man dens. He would wait out here for the others to
return.
Gil (Human form ) enters behind Aaron and when the Desert Warrior stepped left
away from the door, Gil moved right.<br>Gil begain to search the room for
Shadow.
Aaron steps past the others and into the saloon. He sidesteps away from the door
so that he is not spotlighted. Back to the wall he looks around the room
carefuly.
As Gil finished reading the posted rule list, the last word he said wa
Koocho.<br><br>Moses looked over at him and said "Bless you" He grinned an even
sillyer grin than before.
"1. No Fighting. If you are caught fighting, you
will be punieshed appropriately<br>2. The bartender
has the right to refuse anyone and anything. He
doesn't even have to work you know.<br>3. If you are well
known, please don't make a ruckuss<br>4. If you drink
too much and the bartender tells you to leave, you
must.<br>Thank you for your time! Please enjoy your stay at
Koocho!
As Shadow disappeared into the saloon, Gil
stepped up to the list of rules posted on the wall next
to the door and begain to read them
aloud.<br><br>OOC) Ok....Thats your cue to list them there rules
Shadow :-)
"Actually, most likely they would think of you as
a tourist who just happened to be on edge because
someone is hunting you." Shadow says smiling, "These
people aren't the usual suspicious type. They are just
not too fond of demons coming in out of know where
and leaving as quickly as they came." Shadow soon
started heading for the town pub which seemed to be the
largest place in the town. "Welcome to the town center!
You can eat, drink, and do practically whatever you
want to your hearts content. There is a list of rules
on the door. I suggest you all read them before
entering. I'll be inside getting us seets!" And with that
Shadow walked into the door to a huge crowd of cheers.
"You could be correct Aaron, but we should not
set fire to that stake ourselves. Do not appeare too
eager to for battle. Some may take you up on it that
would not have done so before."<br>Gil looks over at
Moses and smiles, "Getting hungry again? we will have
to see what we can do to solve that very large
problem."
Aaron puts his hand on his sword hilt.<br>"I find
that people who are supersticious tend to burn you at
the stake and ask questions later, if at all." Arron
looked about in an alert state. <br>"We should try to
keep from offending what ever little taboos they may
have. With you knowing these people Shadow, we will be
relying on you to let us know when we are in doubt."
"Well, they do what people normally do. HOwever,
though they aren't afraid of dragons they are a very
supersticious group of people. So maybe your friend was what
was keeping them indoors. Though, I could be
mistaken."
Looking around, wide eyed, YonK444 cound not help but wonder about all the
things he was seeing.<br>"Pardon me Shadow, but could you tell me what is it
that people do when in town?"
Gil (In Human form) had seen Drake, even if Aaron
had not, but he chose not to speak of it. Drake had
problems that he would have to work out for himself. Even
so Gil would have offered his help if he thought
Drake would have taken it.<br>The towns people were
coming out onto the streets now. Shadow seemed to know
some of them. Gil could not help but wonder where they
had been when he was flying over.
