Cool deal AW! I should be able to participate in this hunt although I may have a class reunion to go to so not sure just yet. Thanks for putting this together once again. It's always a good time.
As spring finally blooms and Memorial Day approaches, the Winter Carnival Medallion Hunt must surely seem far removed. Yet there's no reason why we can only hunt in the winter. Once again my Mason Lodge will be sponsoring the 3rd (Not Exactly) Annual Twin Cities Treasure Hunt on Saturday, September 19th as a fundraiser. Teams of up to 5 people will race across the Twin Cities solving puzzles and gathering the clues that will eventually take them to the finish line. There is an entry fee of $50 per team, but the winning team will get a prize of $500!
Ah, but wait, it's not that simple. If you want to participate, you first have to get through the qualifying round which is a series of 10 puzzles I have set up online. Only after you have solved them will you find out how to register and where the race begins. Of course, even if you're not able to participate in the hunt, you might find it fun to solve the online puzzles anyway. So forward this to your friends, blog or Twitter your progress, and maybe even make it a team project if you like. The more people who participate in the online hunt, the more successful the fundraiser will be!
