Things to wonder about...
How far ahead do they pick the park? Is it too far ahead to know what the
weather will be like? Do they have to pick a spot and write the clues based on
past trends? If so maybe they've already planned to put it in the woods of
Highland or Linwood. Or are they flexible in which case it could be anywhere
really?
There's a theory that Par Ridder was the clue writer possibly from 2002 to 2007
before leaving the paper. And then a theory that says Boxmeyer wrote the clues
for his beloved Indian Mounds park last year. With Ridder gone and Boxmeyer
passing, that means we're sure to have a new cluewriter this year. Will a new
writer break old "rules"?
It all starts a week from Saturday. Soon I will post my Park Predictions for
2009.
