I tend to agree with Joe. Defects should be a way for their players to add depth to their character, and I feel the defect costs in T:EPT encourage this. And
seems like the players have been put int a different game level than they would like. The simple answer is to bump up one from low fantasy to medium, or high.

I personally think that most of those paired Defects/Attributes should be of the same value, positive and negative. I would personally reduce the cost of the
