I bought some 160gsm card. It's not shiny, but it works pretty well.

I'm now in the process of going through all the expansions in the database and
putting all the cards and characters that can be used with just the main board
onto A4 sheets. It could take a while...

If you have access to a printer that can handle it (like a black/white laser maybe), then the card stock you get from Walmart works perfect (in my opinion)....
