Description

The Central Illinois Tabletop Warriors (CITW) was organized in 1981/82. The CITW is a miniatures war-gaming club with a current membership of 80+. Club members are located mostly in the central Illinois area.
Our goal is to provide a hub for the different gaming clubs of central Illinois to communicate through.
To further this idea, the CITW has established a monthly game day.
Each month a group or club hosts a game day in their hometown. CITW members travel to these different locations to meet old friends on the field of battle. A normal meeting day consists of a game or two being run in the morning. Then, after a break for lunch, afternoon games are set up. Some members just like to get together to paint figs and discuss the hobby.
CITW operates on a twelve-month schedule. A newsletter (The Vedette) is sent to the members to tell them what games are being run at the next meeting. When the CITW is not meeting, our members can usually be found supporting various conventions by running games.
The CITW is always recruiting new members. Club dues are $10/year. (Checks should be made out to Tom Reed.) If you or your club is interested in the CITW please contact one of our Officers or other regional directors.

CITW Elected Officials:
President: Rich Nelson
Secretary: Tom Reed
Vedette Editor: Tom Reed

Regional Directors:
Mike Wallis / Washington, IL.
Kevin Brown / Bloomington, IL.

Re: Wargame Table Size
Thanks for all the ideas. I think I'm going to go one big table, 5x8, with dry storage underneath (off the floor).

Re: Wargame Table Size
I pretty much had to build a standing height table, due to the limitations of my basement.  With that in mind, a 6' table is just too far to reach.  I have a

Re: Wargame Table Size
A 6' table gives plenty of room for gaming - and I really notice a difference. On the other hand, it can sometimes be a stretch to reach across it. A 5' table
