Afternoon boys and girls, I have a bit of a favour to ask:

A friend of mine (Nathan) has set up a new LARP system, several of us
ex-stormies have got involved in rule writing, background writing,
world building, reffing and many other bits and pieces. The event is
intended to be fairly small, and run over 3-4 weekends a year with 30-
40 players at each event, the exciting bit is its probably going to
be 24(ish) hour time in.

The system aims to be a dark medieval horror sort of game rather than
a hack and slash type event. The world is based around several
cultures and races which the players can draw from, it is definitely
a `closed' world, so there wont be any `half-dragon, half vampire,
half from another dimension' cheese. The players will form a trade
caravan which will move from place to place with the events being
stop-overs in different locations.

Now the favour part..

The first event is going to be the 1st weekend in June (3rd to 5th)
and we have managed to book an excellent site at a very reasonable
price. The best news about the site is its location. About 20 minutes
drive from my house on some farmland owned by someone we know. The
site is basically 4 very large interconnected fields surrounded by
woodland in a valley with a river running through the middle of it.
It rocks.



Rather than looking for people to play, what I need is monsters. I
say `monsters' but what I really mean is NPC's. Due to the flavour of
the game it's not going to be `attacked by Orcs' every half an hour
until the players have had their money's worth. I need people who are
good roleplayers and can be trusted to play a detailed NPC for a
couple of hours and really bring some life and feeling to the game. I
know that all of you guys are capable of that. If anyone is

The best thing is it looks as if Monstering is going to be totally
free with food thrown in as well.
