Good point (no pun intended). Thanks for the input.
I also believe that a persons height, or more appropriately... the
length of their arm is a factor. People who have longer arms are
more likely to prefer the tip side grip (less revolutions) than
people with shorter arms. I won't go into detail right now on the
theory, you might know it better than I do.
Some dart players like to lean in on the board (pros & cons are
again a topic for another conversation). As you can imagine, this
lessens the effective throw distance and also contributes to some
people liking the tip side grip.
Lastly, I think seasoned dart players sometimes have difficulty
allowing the Stiletto Dart to naturally rotate as it leaves their
grip. It seems to be an easier transition for some people to use
the half spin because of this.
By the way Scott, I'm glad you are enjoying the darts... sounds like
you are working hard to drum up business :)
