Sqitch is an open source 3x3 switch-to-match puzzle-game. You can move the tiles around with your numeric keypad, as well as the with the mouse.
Sqitch stores the high score for everyone that plays on a particular computer, your high score is always there, you never get knocked off the list. You currently have a choice of ten different animation speeds, and four different tile sets.
This game is still in the prototype stage but it is playable.
The Win32 installer for Sqitch v0.8.5 can be downloaded from the Files section of this web-site. It is named SqitchInst.exe. It has been tested under Win98, WinME, Win2k, and WinXP. This is not a "demoware" or "crippleware" version of the program. It is the full install. If you decide you don't like Sqitch, you can select "Uninstall Sqitch" from the Start Menu, and everything will be removed except your scores file.
If you are a programmer and you would like to look at the source code you can download the Sqitch_src.zip file. Theoretcaly, you can run the source script on any operating system where you can install both Python and wxPython.
