Sounds interesting. Count me in please.
I have both played and run PBeM games using Classic Spycraft, and the
most critical thing is to make sure everyone playing is on board and
aware of the responsibilities of keeping the game moving. It's easy
to converse on the table top, bounce ideas around, crunch some
numbers, and then proceed, all in a few minutes. This process over
email can take days, weeks, or even months depending upon the players.
The biggest problem I had was that you need proactive players, rather
than reactive players, who are willing to take the first move and
initiate actions. Every PC needs to have something to do, and be
willing to do it. If not, the game stagnates very quickly.
Your idea of letting the GC control the action seems like an ideal
solution, and I'd like to see how it would work.

two or three rounds as long as players are willing to turn over some
control the GC for the attack simulation.
