Hey Group,
Since I have only heard from Kyle, Allen, Erik and myself for tonight I let Kyle
pick the game we will try Chassepot and Needlegun a rule set by Larry Brom who
evryone in the hobby has heard of or meet. The rules are for gaming the
Franco-German War of 1870, also known as the Franco-Prussian War. This is the
2001 reissue of the rules. These rules have been around for about 16 years and
the reissue has some changes. As Larry has said these rules where designed with
the "F" word in mine (Fun). I have a ton of Foundry packs with over a 100
painted, Kyle had purchased several tubs of painted figures so we'll give it a
go.

Hey Group,
Just wanted to let everyone know Comics MD on RT 210 is having a sale this
Saturday 20% off all FOW in stock. Laryy has a pretty stock of stuff so if you
need anything pick some up, he's hoping we support him more buying FOW. Also
Fall In is coming up Nov 6-8 in Gettysburg Pa hotel is sold out so expect this
to be the biggest yet.

Hey Group,
We're scheduled this weekend to play looking for head count and interest of
game. Mike P you mentioned FOW western front but emailed me about Warmaster,
what's your pleasure? Last week's Franco-Prussian war turned out great I hope to
post some pics this week, Kyle, Erik, Andy and myself learned the rules and had
a great time. The Prussians came out ahead after the French stalled on the right
flank. The rules are fairly simple with Moral being a major part of the game.
Hope to try again once we get some Artillery.

Just a heads up for the next game 21 NOV, Fall In 6,7,8 Nov. Started to work on
Hammers Slammers again hope to play test near the holidays so keep a look out
this will have a lot of eye candy.

interest game wise. Kyle I know you have to work Erik and Allen need to know
your status for Saturday I want to try out a Pulp adventure but want enough
folks to play test it, It may make a good holiday game for December.

August of 3049, the Inner Sphere began to hear of mysterious invaders using
advanced technology, beyond that of even the Star League. In the reaches
coreward of the Free Rasalhague Republic small periphery realms disappeared from
contact and mercenary units are annihilated (including a detachment from the
elite Kell Hounds). In March of 3050, the invaders struck at the Inner Sphere
proper. The invaders, known as the Clans cut a swathe through the Lyran half of
the Federated Commonwealth and Draconis Combine and absolutely devastated the
Free Rasalhague Republic. Using their technological superiority and impressive
combat prowess, over a hundred planets fell in the first year.
It took the suicide attack of Kapten Tyra Miraborg, a pilot in the Free
Rasalhague Republic's KungsArme, to do what entire regiments had failed: stop
the Clan advance. Her suicide attack with her Shilone AeroSpace Fighter hit the
bridge of the Clan flagship, killing ilKhan Leo Showers instantly. Under Clan
law, a new ilKhan could only be selected on the Clan homeworld of Strana Mechty,
which was almost a year's travel time from the location of the Clan forces in
the Inner Sphere. So, for more than a year, the Clans halted their invasion as
their individual leaders returned to their home planets to regroup and select a
new ilKhan, and then returned to continue with the invasion. Now there back can
anything stop these invaders?

Hey Group,
Looking to lock in December gaming since the holiday is coming up this will help
with trying to put on some games for the group and having our annual Christmas
holiday game. Andy has stated he is available 12/19 Dec Kyle I believe is 5/12
Dec so would like to get folks to free up the 12th and if anyone wants to get an
additional game in I'm OK with that if we get the interest. Further follow will
be posted as we close in on dates.

I just wanted to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving I hope everyone has a
chance to spend time with your family and loved ones. Please think of those who
are serving our country and most be away from home, speaking from experience
there nothing worst then being away during the holidays. My best to you all. I'm

Story line: Every year on the 23rd of December Santa and his train make the trek
to the departure station in the North Pole, here Santa unloads all the toys for
all the boys and girls, so they can prepare and load the sleigh for Santa's
Christmas Eve journey. The train travels over snowy pastures and forests full of
Christmas ferns, this year is no exception the train is filled and Santa and his
elves are ready to begin their journey to the departure station.
Underlining Story: As Santa and the elves prepare for another Christmas evil
forces are plotting once again to end Christmas before it begins. The Evil
Villain's Plan world domination of course, but how to accomplish such a large
task (light bulb goes off) steal Santa's magic!

Just wanted to give you a heads up since we play Aeronef alot Brigade Models
(UK)repeating last year's sale, which is a straightforward 15% off all their
ranges except Celtos, which benefits from a whopping 25% discount. They'll
extend sale a few days into the New Year, so the sale will run until January

This years epic Christmas battle will be using rules called GASLIGHT miniature
gaming in the Age of Victorian SciFi, written by Christopher Palmer and John R.
"Buck" Surdu. Rules are easy to grasp. Uses the hero and minion philosphy, and
the rules can accomodate most anything you can devise and there are guidelines
included for fanatastic weapons, vehicles, beasts, etc. In case you want to know
what GASLIGHT stands for "Glorious Adventures in Science Loosely Involving
Generally Historical Times", so expect the unexpected this will be a holiday
adventure you won't forget. I've posted some pictures of the battle field, See
you Saturday we'll be having a party so bring something if you like, I'll have
food so don't eat!

Wow! What a great game you couldn't have asked for a better conclusion then
this, a quick recap. 23 Dec 2009 Santa's Train enters the board heading for his
way station, dark clouds begin to form to the west, out of the Darkness comes
Lord Z and his Minion Army, accompanied by the Red Baron and the Grinch! The
evil forces form a long attack line and move on the Way Station while Lord Z and
his force move toward Santa's Train. As war begins to wage Santa still seems
unaware of the dire situation he faces his 24th Bear Infantry are busy eating
honey and not preparing for war. As the Grinch assaults the Way Station the
forces of good stationed in the Way Station begin to muster and start their
engines of war. Bad luck befalls the Santa's forces and the great elf horn blows
it summons the Evil Snowman who appear next to the Station and begin to assault
the Elf cannon the quick reaction of the Elf's saves the cannon by moving it out
of the reach of these evil creatures. The Toy Soldiers move in and dispatch the
Evil Snowman to secure the flank, mean while the Red Baron moves his forces into
assault range to attack the Toy Soldiers and Elf cannon. Lord Z makes his move
on the passing train and has his small tank open fire on the train engine heavy
fire damages the engine and in a final blast destroys the engine derailing the
train just before it could have entered the station. One unit of bears stays in
the train trying to hold off Lord Z they fall to his evilness. The second unit
of 24th Bears sweep Santa away from Z. The Toymaker and his Iron men hold the
right flank keeping the Grinch from overwhelming them. Santa's maid who is held
up in the tower throws grenades at the evil forces trying to keep them at bay.
The Mouse Guard enter the game from the blowing of the Elf horn and advance to
see what all the noise is from they stay out of the way and stay neutral after
many failed roles by Kyle to convince them to help Santa. Mean while on the next
turn a luck elf blows the horn and summons the Yeti's! They save the day against
the Grinch and his evil flock by destroying the evil forces on the right flank
after the Iron Soldier fall to the Grinch and the Toymaker is killed defending
his position. The Toy Soldiers fight the last Toy in the middle and beat back
and kill the Red Baron. Lord Z seeing his forces falters moves into fill the gap
and push into the station mean while the Grinch and the Black Bear another
wondering creature fight to the death. The Steam Spider moves through the way
station to cut off Santa and capture him but Santa his smooth and hearing Mrs.
Claus telling him to get into the Station, she loads him up with lots of goodies
and send him out to clean up this mess. Santa taking things into his own hands
seeing Lord Z ready to enter the Magic toy shed engages him and begins a hand to
hand battle for Christmas several blows back and force Lord Z seeing he is about
to fall to Santa pushes his teleport button escapes death to fight another day.
Long live Santa and Christmas, until next year. Check out the pictures showing
the story.

Since we have four folks who can play we'll have a game on the 26th anyone else
interest your more then welcome to attend. We may look at doing Battletech since
everyone is interested in playing again.
