Hi,
I put these rules together back in the 90's. They are based on Jon Tuffley's
Tac-Ship space fighter rules with my usual borrows and adaptions from other rule
sets. We play tested them at Humberside Wargames Soc and they seemed to work
prety well. They were intended to use with Micro Machines Star Wars models, but
we could never get enough Tie Fighters.

Lately I picked up a couple of packs of WizKids Star Wars pocket model game. I
can't get into their rules at all but I do like the mini's. So I thought I would
dig these out, make them available and see if they still work.

The ship stats I have were for the original SW films. I have only recently seen
'Attack of the Clowns' and 'Revenge of the Siff'. (Great SFX, crappy plot). Tac
Ship should work with ships from the new films if anyone wants to have a go at
figuring them out.

Regards,

Chris

Quite a few of WH40K's troop types/races are described as wearing power armour.
Space Marines are the most obvious. I get the impression SM's are decanted from
their birth flask into power armmoured romper suits and stay in them until
they're recycled for spare parts.
There's no demob suit in the Space Marines!

SM's also have Terminator Suits. These appear a lot more powerful than the
standard womble suit.

But the Eldar and Tau also appear to be wearing something described as power
armour.

Eldar suits appear rather more elegant than SM's. Is it just better technology
or is there a difference in protection offered ?

Tau battle suits might be better described as one-Tau vehicles (along with
dreadnought armour).

Are there different grades of 'Power Armour' within WH40K ?

It looks as if we might be providing stats for Power Armour suits rather than
for troops...
