Hi
Just brought Jaws of the Six Serpents. I am new to PDQ. Its certainly a
refreshing system (kudos to the game designer). PDQ demands a more narrative
approach to role playing which is what I am after and looks fairly simple to set
up and play out (as opposed to a tactical combat wargame grid fest - you know
what I mean!).
The only thing I am misssing from the game system wise on first read through is
a little more crunch regarding different weapons and armour, effecst of using a
shield etc. I found some rules stuff from a Planescape PDQ conversion which will
help with that I think.
It seemed a little daunting making up a character with such an open ended
narrative style; hence your quality listings are very useful.
Thanks for putting such a thougt provoking game together. What would be great is
a starter scenario with premade characters?
Cheers
Alex
