I have not the slightest intention to 'change' anything in Chu Shogi of course. I liked to play it, - but games with drops (Shogi, Tori and Wa Shogi) are more 'special' (my opinion). I found disapointing that this feature was not in any greater Shogi variant - but you gave an excellent reason why.
