The results are in! 112 people voted in Sheepshead Central's latest
poll (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sheepshead_central/) which asked
the question : "Although many of us play sheepshead in a variety of
ways, which of the following choices is to you the true way to play
sheepshead in person? Choose only one!"

The results (in order from most to least popular):

44 - Call ace, double on the bump, leasters

41 - JD partner, double on the bump, leasters

12 - JD partner, NOT double on the bump, leasters

10 - Call ace, NOT double on the bump, leasters

3 - JD partner, double on the bump, doublers

2 - Call ace, double on the bump, doublers

0 - NOT double on the bump, doublers (Call ace or JD)

Analysis:
Although I'd like to say Call Ace was the CLEAR winner, if you total
the results you'll find that there are 56 votes overall for JD and 56
votes overall for Call Ace. (Not counting jcHimself's vote for 3-
handed loners only). I honestly expected Call Ace to whup JD 70% to
30%. In conclusion, this poll plainly shows that 56 people truly know
what true Sheepshead is all about, and the other 56 are clearly
wrong! ;-)
