I can only speak for myself, but I'll decline this opportunity. If this
were a good time for me to take on GMing a PBEM (and it isn't as we've just
decided we're going to sell this house and move one or two more times and
maybe build a house), I'd be a lot better off doing one in my own setting.

We can certainly go through the effort of trying #2 and #3 but I think it'd
be just as well to go straight to #1 and get it over with. We've had this
patient on life support for too long, and brought it back from death too
many times, to have any realistic expectation that it could survive even
more drastic measures. Time to let it go.
