I base my 25mm troops on 40mm wide bases.
Infantry are on 40mm square bases with 4 figures in two ranks
Cavalry are on 40mm square bases with 2 figures
Artillery are on 80mm deep bases with 3-5 crew.

This system is compatible with a wide range of other rules, including
Age of Eagles, Grand Armee, Volley & Bayonet, and Horse, Foot, Guns.
