I could be wrong, but I think that there was a poll (survey) on the Shako group about this. When you see this, you may want to bear in mind that some of the respondents were reading the rulebook literally, i.e., when the Shako "A" or "B" system was noted, the people responding may have had the dimensions from the rulebook in mind.
Mine was a coincidence, but I use the "B" system for 15mm - but I think the system I use is a modified "B" system. As I read the rulebook, the "B" system would have six stands of three figures, and I just have three stands of six figures.
FYI, but I'm a Shako fan, nonetheless. Good luck, and good gaming.

Subject: [shako] basing in 25mm
I am about to start work on my armies, and am abandoning my 10mm and 15mm troops for 25mm troops.
While the rules imply that there are several possible basing variants I would like to know what is the most common basing system for 25mm figures. How many per base, and what are the recommended sizes?
many thanks
