Hello all
Here's what I played...
Chinese Money Laundry 2004
5x Golden Candle Society
5x Little Grasshopper
5x Buddhist Monk
2x Yen Fan
2x The Iron Monkey
1x Tranquil Persuader
1x Sun Chen
1x Hung Hei Kwon
3x Derek Han
1x Billy Chow
5x Confucian Stability
1x Shaolin Surprise
4x Wind on the Mountain
1x Positive Chi
2x Shield of Pure Soul
4x Chinese Connection
3x Orange Senshi Chamber
2x Yellow Senshi Chamber
1x Green Senshi Chamber
2x Wing of the Crane
4x The Pledged
2x Student of the Bear
2x The Suits
1x Serena Chase
1x Bleys Fontaine
5x Bull Market
5x Operation Killdeer
2x Bite of the Jellyfish
5x Shadowy Mentor
4x Family Estate
1x Nuclear Power Plant
1x Cassandra
1x White Ninja (promo)
1x Secret Headquarters
5x Puzzle Garden
4x Perpetual Motion Machine
1x Tangram Alley
3x Whirlpool of Blood
1x Heaven's Peak
1x Temple of Celestial Mercy
1x Temple of the Angry Spirits
1x Kinoshita House
2x Fox Pass
1x City Square
1x Turtle Beach
Basically the same deck as I ran last year, except that Little Grasshopper
and especially Buddhist Monk meant I could make the deck more reliable by
cutting back on Ascended stuff. Now only 2 cards plus the Bull Markets need
more than one Asc resource.
Clearly the deck doesn't need to be this big, probably should be around 80
or 90 cards. There is basically no search (2x Shield of Pure Soul,
Cassandra), and I don't get close to decking even in a long game. This would
mean running 3x and 4x instead of 5x. I don't understand the game well
enough to know what should go. Any opinions?
Thanks to everybody who came - it's good to have people playing for
enjoyment of the game instead of $$$ - any MtG players will know what I
mean.
Cheers,
Tony
