My last Ode to Sonic was the purchase of the Shadow the Hedgehog game. About the only thing I still like about that game, is the music. And I don't mean the cheesy theme songs, I mean the actual music, like the compositions in the levels. That sort of rock, electronic stuff, its kind of cool.

Anyway, I was searching Sim Deaths on youtube, so that I could find some new ways to kill my sims, and something made me think of Sonic... I think it was the video where the male zombie sim gave birth to a baby alien sim. (God I love sims)... So, then I searched Sonic, and found these cut scenes from some new game.

Um, can some one explain to me what the hell happened to the cute, chilly-dog eating, Steve Urkle Sonic that I grew up with?

I mean, seriously, there was a scene where this human chick kissed dead Sonic on the... um, does he even HAVE lips??? I mean, we all know the Shadow and Maria thing was silly, but as long as they didn't kiss, I felt I could handle it. But some chick, kissing this, big, giant, "hedgehog" with monster hands, and no actual lips? That's messed up. I mean, GROSS!

And what's with all these new, random, anime characters?

They should have kept Sonic old school, with the addition of Shadow. Take out all this alien, maria, girl-making-out-with-monster-hands CRAP, and just keep it cute and fun... with catchy, little songs for every level. None of these THEMES and other dramatic garbage... Just fun, cute, 2D stuff, or maybe 3D, but not over the top. Keep Shadow, cause Shadow is cool. And leave it at that.

I guess what I'm saying is, The series sucks now... but enjoy this group for what it is, and Shadow, old pal, it was nice while it lasted. Put the gun down, stop crying over Maria, and go eat a chilly dog with Negaduck from Darkwing Duck. That'll make you cute and lovable again. Ya know, like how Bugs Bunny was cute and lovable when he pulled a fast on the big, bad wolf... back in the cool-cat, rag-time days.
