Cruise: I'm drawing at straws here Doc… Can you do some screen test or
something? Maybe see what I am allergic to?

Adair/Walker: "Och aye, thats easy Allan, a bit painful of course, but very
easy." She watched his face as she hurried off to the supply room, of course it
would be painful NOT. She came back with a small syringe and what looked to
Allan like a giant elastic. "Gi me your right arm." He put it out and stared at
her, she tied the tourniquet above his elbow and gently felt for the vein, and
inserted the needle. Allan stared at her with shock'

Cruise: Ahh… Ro, what's that? :: Before she would answer she grabbed Allen's arm
and strapped an elastic tourniquet around his bicep all the while Allen watched
with odd curiosity. As Ro picked up the syringe Allen winced slightly as she
stuck his arm and drew some blood.:: Ouch!

Adair/Walker: "Och fa heaven sake man, its done, now gi me a few minutes to run
it thro the tests, can ya live long enough fa that?"

Cruise: Something tells me I have no choice.

Adair/Walker: Ro strolled back with her data padd in hand. "Some good news and
some bad news laddie, you're no allergic ta the counselor, but you're pregnant."

::Allen glanced down at his six pack abs curiously wondering how in the worlds
this could happen, then looked up to Ro with a contorted and confused expression
on his face.::

Ro giggled,"Its something she uses or wears, you were right, perhaps a perfume
she wore that she thought Kolk might like?"

Cruise: Damn it Ro, Ya scared the crap out of me. :: pause:: Kolk? Hehe How did
you know?

Adair/Walker: Ro looked at him."Just because I'm stuck in sick bay dosena mean I
have don' t get the gossip and the news ya know, in fact who do ya think keeps
the Captain informed?"

Cruise: Really… just how much does the Captain know?

Adair/Walker:

:: Allen snatches Ro and draws her close::

Cruise: Ahh, So he has no idea that I'm madly in love with you.::chuckles::

Adair/Walker:

Cruise: What? He trusts us? Damn, so you two do talk about us and my wild wanton
ways. ::chuckles::

Adair/Walker:

Cruise: Well, I don't know, hang'n with the Captain and his wife? Sounds so
formal, plus I don't even have a date.

Adair/Walker:

Cruise: Oh you're really bad… look doc, I know I've had this thing for
counselors but I really want to keep my relationship with this one on a
professional level; besides Jack's all gaga over her anyway.

Adair/Walker:

Cruise: Ha! And I should trust you to set me up on a blind date?

Adair/Walker:

Cruise: Ok, ok ::raises hands in mock defense:: let me know when and I'll be
there. ::jumps down from the biobed.:: but for now I must oversee a meeting with
engineering in about half an hour so I best get a move on. ::hugs:: Thanks again
Ro.

Adair/Walker:

Cruise: ::Turns back before crossing the doorway:: Ya know, ah never mind.

Adair/Walker:

Cruise: I was just thinking… ya got me all nervous ya know, well gotta run, bye.

:: before Ro could protest Allen was out the door and cruis'n down the corridor.
Once he reached his office he sat down clicking the LCARS he began perusing
through what little data he had in preparation of the meeting. oOHow do I muster
an engineer to do investigative work?Oo
