((Flight Deck deck 11))
Trolin: ::Out of breath:: I'm here. Where is B..B..Breya.
::A deck hand pointed her out. She was under one of the fighters::
Trolin: Breya! I'm here. What did you need
:: Trell stood and looked at Trolin. She hadn't talked to him since he had attempted to manipulate her for his own gain, and more then her, the lives of her men. She sighed, and brushed off her trousers. ::
Trell: Follow me. ::She turned to enter the fighter,
and then stopped and turned back to Trolin.:: For the record, I knew
nothing about this. And I am rather insulted about your attempt to
manipulate me and my fighters.
Trolin: ::The mood dropped for Trolin. He opened his mouth and then closed it opened it again and hoped for the right words to come out.:: It was wrong and I shouldn't have asked.
Trell: :: She paused for a second, before speaking::
I'm glad you understand the situation you put me in. I thought about
not speaking to you again for a long time. I hate feeling so betrayed,
I can't imagaine you'd use someone you may care about. However, it
seems fate may have had other ideas.
Trolin: ::Trolin shuddered at the word
betrayed. He knew that he had "betrayed" many people but he had not
heard those words from anyone. No one had the heart to tell him how
much he had hurt them. Trolin went to inturupt her half way through
with a whisper.:: Breya ::But he decided it was best that he not speak
any louder and let her finish.:: I was expecting it to be attached to
the hull. Why are we going into the fighter?
::Breya looked at him, she didn't know what to think.
It was apparent he didn't mean to hurt her, but his logic wasn't
working with her. Instead of answering his question she entered the
fighter gesturing for him to follow. Once inside she pointed to the
substance she had discovered earlier::
Trell: For that. I scanned it a number of times, it doesn't register
in at all in the scans. I believe that this is some of that Walkinium
that you so desired . Apparently this pilot managed to obtain some.
Trolin: oO Oh ! Oo ::The peace looked like the
size of a earth basket ball or one of thoes tourter device Trolin saw
in Dr. Ro's office.:: oO Medicine ball I think she called it Oo Uh
Breya... We should have some hazard suits. I mean...the cockpit is
shilded but since we don't know the material we should not handle it
directly. ::Trolin mentioned outside the ship for some suits to be
brought::
Trell: So my pilots were told to fly with a
potentially dangerous substance inside there shielded ships? If they
are supposed to do that, then we can do that too. I would never ask
someone to do something I wouldn't do myself.
Trolin: ::Irritated:: And I wouldn't. I was a pilot once before I know the risks. ::Pause:: Look I was looking for a poorer sample something they could beam in. something with more rock then anything else. I didn't realize ::Breya Inturupts:: the field the way it was....
Trell: You didn't realize because you didn't look. I know the risks too, and it is no more then I ask of myself. Why do you think that I didn't want them to be forced to do that !?
Trolin: ::This was not going the way he had hoped.:: oO What had I hoped for that she would lovingly forgive me! That she would forget the incident. Oo ::answering his own question outloud:: No. I never... It wou... Breya, ::pleading:: look at me. There is nothing I can say to make it right and if you want to hate me for the rest of my life then so be it. I'm sorry I'm sorry for everything. The lies the coverup the endagering of the fighters, It wasn't an order it was a request.
Trell: Fine. It didn't seem like a request at the time. I appreciate your apology though it could have come a bit earlier. ::Breya took a deep breath, and lowering the volume of her voice before continuing.:: Anyway, I don't think that arguing helps anyone, what do we do with that? ::She pointed to the mass again::
Trolin: ::The suits arrived:: Thank you officer. We should put these on now. ::Slipping into the suit:: Now all we have to do is put the sample into the container. ::Making the sure the forcefield was turned off Trolin opend the lid. ::Opening the door back up to the cargo hold Trolin walked over to the rock. Brushing off the dust revealed a shiny black surface like a dark mirror. Wrapping his hands arround the rock Trolin lifted the rock made it about a foot off the ground. Failure.:: UGGGGHHHH ::Breaths:: I think I can roll it over but I will need help getting it into the container.
Trell: maybe there is a lift of some kind to help you with that. I don't think that we could lift it, even if we do it together...
Trolin: Yea.... ::Looking around.:: You there we need that anti-grav hoist
::The enlisted crew member brought over the hoist Trolin was pointing to::
Trolin: Yea that should do You stay here I'll get it in the back.
::Trolin wheeled the hoist to the rock and strapped it to the ropes.::
Trolin: If you could....
::Breya was already on her way to help in out. She raised the rock and angled it over the box where she then lowered the ball.::
Trolin: ::Smiles:: Thanks.
::Closing the lid Trolin turned on the force-field and extended the handle and rolled the crate out of the fighter.::
Trolin: ::Removing his helmet:: So.... umm... thanks for the .... thanks for letting me know.
Trell: Yeah, well, I figured you be the most excited about it. Just do me a favor and let the command know.
Trolin: ::Trolin began to leave.:: oO Don't go. You'll be done forever. Hay wait your an engineer and a former pilot offer her help. Oo. ::Looks at his watch.:: oO you still have 1 hour Oo Hay um... You look a little swamped... Is there anything I can do to help?
Trell: Well, I am going over the fighters to set up a check-list for maintenance. If you'd like you can help me.
