((USS Calippus))

::The Captain of the Calippus was a tall blonde man of Swedish decent
named Andreas Bjork. His slight accent was noticeable but didn't
affect understanding.

Tac: I've got something on long-range sensors... it looks vaguely like
the Ronin, though with this muck I can't be sure.

Bjork: Well, they are here, but they will have to make due. How are
our measurements doing?

Sci: We're doing fine. We're getting a lot of good data from the
probes we have in close to the star.

Bjork: And the datastreams...

Sci: ...are encrypted so that the Ronin can't tap them, just as you
suggested.

::The Swede rubbed his hands together and smiled.::

Bjork: Good, good. Divert extra power to the shields and move us in a
bit closer. I plan on making sure Bert Morgan remembers that a gunship
can't outdo a science vessel for good research work.
