((Starbase 118 - Event Horizon))

:: As Tanang finished his song, Ramirez started applauding while walking up on
stage, grabbing a mic on the way. He had a strike of genius while the klingon
was singing... He found the way to stand out... the thing that nobody else would
be able to do... ::

Ramirez: ::With Orrey's voice:: That was a remarkable piece of klingon festive
entertainment. Now, Lt Ramirez if you may?

::Own voice:: Thank you, Jansen. Now... I would've played you a tune myself, but
I seem to have left my band in my other suit... But then again...

(OOC: Please note that Ramirez would be looking at different angles as he
switches voices to indicate a dialog. I just don't want to write "he looks
right, he looks left" all the time during this post)

:: He started beatboxing but soon enough he was cut short ::

::Rocar's voice:: Mr. Ramirez, would you mind stopping that infernal noise?

::Own voice:: Sorry Cap'n... Special request?

::Rocar's voice:: Peace and quiet...

::Own voice:: Hmmm... Sorry, don't know that one...

::Rocar's voice:: Could you at least not be so loud all the time?

::Redstone's voice:: Actually, Captain, when he makes noise, at least we know
where he is. I'd be worried if I didn't know where Mr. Ramirez was all the
time...

::Rocar's voice:: Hmm... You have a point, Commander... Carry on, Lieutenant.

::Own voice:: Thanks. Now, for the next part of...

::Geeva's voice:: This do is very much contrary to Starfleet regulations,
Lieutenant Ramirez. Do impersonating an officer do is unacceptable.

::Webb's voice:: I'd have to agree with Commander Geeva on that one.

::Own voice:: True, but then again Starfleet regulations specify that it is a
violation to impersonate an officer. Doesn't say anything about impersonating
many officers...

::Rho's voice:: Do you always have to play with words like that, Pedro?

::Own voice:: Come on... If there weren't people like me around, there wouldn't
be any rules to begin with... And when one like me finds a way around those
rules, then the powers that be can make their regulations tighter. So in a way,
I'm contributing to a better and more secure Federation...

::Harden's voice:: Had I known you'd be doing things like that, I wouldn't have
let you through the Academy again...

::Own voice:: You too, Doc? Sheesh... I haven't sent anybody to sickbay yet,
including myself... Things aren't that bad...

::Sharee's voice:: So you're saying that if you don't send anybody to sickbay,
everything is alright? Doesn't that seem wrong to you?

::Own voice:: I guess we'll talk about that in therapy then... Anyways... as I
was...

::Orrey's voice:: I'm sorry to interrupt, but we have other performers
waiting...

::Own voice:: Right, right. Well then, this was my time. Hope you enjoyed
yourselves... Litterally.

:: He walked off the stage and went to sit back down next to Moon. People would
definitely be pissed at him for sure, but at least he had the guts to do it. It
was called "talent night", not "do-what-people-like-to-see night". It was one of
his talents, one that nobody else had or would dare to use in front of a crowd
and that was the point. If he had done just like everybody else, then they'd
have to rename the event to "musical evening with the senior staff" ::
