(( USS Braveheart , Docking Bay ))

:: Jake could feel his fists bunch in frustration as the shuttle dropped into
the Braveheart's docking bay, and he let out a soft eshalation. They had now
increased the number of Starfleet officers stranded below from three to seven.
And even though he knew, deep down that the decision to leave was the right one,
the fact that he had been denied the chance to stay made him feel helpless.::

Wentworth :oO Not hlepless - useless!Oo

:: It took a few seconds before jake realised he was being spoken to .::

Sharee: Ensign Wentworth, it seems we have some research to do

Wentworth : Wha?::Sheepishly :: Sorry, miles away. What do we have on the
inhabitants?

Sharee: While on the planet the only contacts we had with the civilization was
the probe, and the communications transmission. We did not actually see the
inhabitants. Maybe there is something in Star Fleets records, though I think if
there was it would have been in our mission briefing.

Wentworth : So...where do we start?

Sharee: ::sarcastically at first:: Well, I know from much experience the
counseling offices have a tendency to be quiet, and there are computers we can
use. The counseling databases are also cross-referenced to the sociological, and
anthropological databases. If Star Fleet has information on the SQ313's
civilizations, that is the place to find it.

Wentworth : Right. Counseling offices it is

:: The pair made their way over to the turbolift and steped inside, Jake keeping
a deferential space between himself and the lieutenant in the confines of the
lift.::

Wentworth : Counseling Offices.

:: There was a few moments of silence in the turbolift - save for the hum of the
lift as it traversed the Braveheart's decks.::

Wentworth : Sorry for getting a little carried away in the shuttle. It's just
that I need to be doing something - or else feel like I'm doing something. It
was unproffessional and out of line. So, Sorry.

Sharee : Repsonse?

Wentworth : Even so, as a Starfleet Officer I should know better.

Sharee : Response?

Wentworth :do you think it's down to 'trying too hard'? Tis is my first away
mission - my first mission - it's not exactly like the academy teaches it.

Sharee : Response?

:: Jake grinned wryly.::

Wentworth : I hope so ma'am. Where are my Manners! I've been on an away mission
and not even had the courtesy to introduce myself. :: Sticking out a hand.::

:: Jake was about to answer just as the trubolift came to a stop, doors hissing
open. He went to take a step as Sharee's communicator Beeped.::

Perkins: Perkins to Sharee come in please.

Sharee :Response

Perkins: Counsellor we have made contact with Captain Hardens group. She is fine
and has asked for native clothing. It seems she has made visual contact
with these natives. So you can tell the others to stand down for now.

Sharee :Response

Perkins: Thank you. I wonder if I could have a word with you please. I need to
speak with you about my rudeness towards you and some other things.

:: Jake waved her words away even as she opened her mouth.::

Wentworth : You'd best go Ma'am, I can get started on the search solo and you
can catch up later.
