V'KOR: And if it were any other Captain I would have ignored him! But how
long must we wait? Or is the fire in your blood quenched by too much
diplomatic wine?!
TOR'EL: Well, maybe you are right, maybe it is. But then, maybe that's the
reason I am here, and I have been given command of this task force. Because
I am not as willing to spoil federation diplomatic attemps as any other
klingon captains.
::V'Kor stood angrily from his command chair, his voice rising to an angry
growl.::
V'KOR: Are you questioning my resolve, Captain?! I will obey the orders of
my Commander to my last breath, and so will any Klingon on my ship! But you
must understand that trained warriors do not sit and wait for their enemy to
strike first!
TOR'EL: Yes, yes. However, Captain V'Kor, what do you thing is the best way
to attack that ship, in case of combat?
::He stopped, eyeing the enormous ship on the viewscreen.::
V'KOR: The ship is...formidable to say the least. Our best chance would be
to combine our firepower with the Federation fleet and strike from all
directions.
TOR'EL: Well, it seems it can shoot in any direction, so there is no point
on flanking it. So I though we should keep a tight formation, as to reduce
the number of cannons they can shoot at us. What do you think?
::He looked for holes in Tor'el's logic but could not find any. The tactic
was sound. His voice lowered a bit.::
V'KOR: I would agree. And we are positioned to do just that. But why not
strike while they are not expecting us to? We could obliterate them before
their beloved Emperor returns to his ship!
TOR'EL: response
V'KOR: Captain..that plasma ball in the center of the ship is obviously
their power source. According to the sensor data shared from Discovery, it's
equivalent to a small star. What if...what if we found a way to create a
disruption in that star?
TOR'EL: response
V'KOR: If it truly operates as a star it is subject to the same laws that
stars must follow. If we could find a way through their shields we could
create a disruption within the star. I suggest we contact Discovery and
discuss this.
TOR'EL: response
::V'Kor returned to his chair. Although Tor'el was still a young pup, he had
a keen mind-a warrior's mind. He reminded himself to share a cup of
bloodwine with him once the Saurians were vanquished.::
