((2100 hrs, Relay Station #3))

:: It was a busy for Hahn. Not the usual manic panic of a downed line or a
blown transfer
station transformer, this time was a regulated working schedule of Starfleet.
Not that he
minded some structure, mind you, there was always a way to work around one's
drinking
hours. Kevin Hahn was a veteran of hung-over repair works and half-drunk
fixer-uppers.
So far, after all these years, under so many different bosses, he has yet to
repair
something twice. Well, unless he already knew that something was about to give.
::

::He walked up to the resting Ursa Major officer. ::

Hahn: Seeking inspiration, Lieutenant Clack?

Clack: Yes?

Hahn: Hello again, sorry to wake you.

Clack: Glad to see you back Mr Hahn. You can start by assisting Edwards
with the new generator.

Hahn: Which one is that?

Clack: response

Hahn: Ha! Good. ::He cracked his knuckles and set off of the officer. ::

::He wiped his right palm against his dirty coveralls and aproached Edwards. ::

Hahn: Hey there, I am Kevin Hahn, Wheeler Colony's repairman.

Edwards: response

Hahn: Yes, I can.

Edwards: response

Hahn: Sounds good, where do we start?

Edwards: response

Hahn: And the support structure?

Edwards: response

Hahn: Hey, you're the boss. And I pretty good with instructions.

Edwards: response

::Hahn whistled when he saw the new generator. It was new. So new that it took
him
awhile to identify the new smell. There may be some trace of toxic off gassing
but he was
inhaling the newness, delighting in its aroma, and possibly killing more brain
cells in the
process. ::

Hahn: I love scent of new fabrication so early in the evening.

Edwards: response

Hahn: Oh no, this is a treat. Its not everyday we get something this new. How
much
power can it spit out?

Edwards: response

Hahn: No kidding? That's, what, 12 grids at capacity? Maybe more.

Edwards: response

Hahn: Wow. The conduits are going to be in for a shock at that much flow. Sure
if the
older relays will hold?

Edwards: response

Hahn: No matter. I am thrilled with this much power, if there are other
ruptures down the
line, I am happy to patch them up.

Edwards: response

Hahn: No patching? What you going to replace the rest too?

Edwards: response

::His mouth dropped. He pulled out his very patched up PADD. ::

Hahn: Ok Sparky, let's get to it.

Edwards: response
