Anyway, added the 2010 Pro Tour and North America GP schedule, as well as the
remaining PTQs for San Diego.  Oh, and Champs.

$5000 Standard tournament on Saturday, March 14th (there is a friday-
night qualifier, too.)  Lot of 8-Man side events (constructed and draft)

The pre-releases for Conflux will be a lot more fun than Shards.
Drafting, Open Dueling and 2-Headed Giant are now approved at all pre-
releases.  I know for sure the Convention Center will have a morning
and afternoon 2-Headed Giant, but I don't know the stores' schedules
(I added their phone numbers at the end of this email).

Also, the pre-release at the Convention Center will be
one of the Regional Preleases and will have the artist Mike
Dringenberg drawing, signing autographs and possibly selling artwork
and artist proof cards.

Hi, if you are looking for a few casual pick-up games, I'd love to mee
with you.  I live in El Cajon but can drive a little ways.  If you
want, we can meet at a Starbucks/Coffee Bean or wherever.  I'm 23,
graduated from college, and not terribly interested in playing
tournaments, but I wouldn't rule it out either.

Howdy Everyone,

Let me introduce myself, I'm Glenn Godard one of Jody Godard's Event
Managers for Sunmesa Events. Jody is the new PTO for the Greater Los
Angeles area replacing Dan Gray.

First Up, we'd like to thank Miki for introducing us to this group.
One of our goals in the area will be to improve all forms of
communication with players, judges and organizers in the area.

We are very excited to be organizing in the Southern California, Our
first event was the Shards of Alara prerelease in Anaheim. We hosted
over 222 players and gave away plenty of free playmats. If you
haven't seen one they are shown here.

Next up are our PTQ Kyoto rounds, We were fortunate enough to get 2
for our area. Both will be held at the Radisson LAX on November 2 and
then again on December 27th. The dates are both kinda strange but
over time we will sort that out. We have some very exciting stuff
headed this way but more of that later.

We specially wish to encourage the growth of judges in the area. If
you are a judge or have been thinking about judging message us at
sunmesaevents@... and share your goals. We will do whatever we
reasonably can to help.

The Premiere Tournament Organizers (PTOs) for San Diego, Los Angeles
and Arizona have recently changed.

Ray Powers, the previous organizer for San Diego and Arizona, has
retired from running magic events.  Tim Shields of Cascade Games has
become the new San Diego and Arizona PTO.  He is currently the Magic:
The Gathering PTO for Washington state, Oregon, and Utah, and his

Dan Gray has retired as the Los Angeles PTO, and his successor is Glenn
Goddard.  Glenn is also the PTO of Nevada, New Mexico and Lubbock,

Sorry for the late reminder, but (as I am sure all of you know)
Saturday July 12th is the Eventide pre-release!

The San Diego event will be held at the Westin Hotel in the Gaslamp,
not far from the Convention Center.

This will be the last of the big city-wide (state-wide, in some areas)
prereleases.  Starting with the next expansion, pre-releases will be
held in stores, similar to the release events that have been running
for the past few years.

California gets 3 (Anaheim, Sacramento, and San Jose), Arizona gets one
in Phoenix, but Nevada doesn't.  I guess you guys will have to drive to
one of the other ones (or you can go to New Mexico or Salt Lake City.)

Also, added an afternoon trial for GP Denver at the Berlin PTQ in
Phoenix 6/14

Added most qualifiers for PT Berlin, and added US Nationals and
Eventide Pre-release date (no locations yet for the pre-releases)

Hey everyone!  It's time for Shadowmoor.
ARTIFEX is having 2 events for this release.  The first is the Midnight
Madness event.  For this we will be opening at 11:30pm on Thursday
night.  We will be running booster drafts all night long starting at
12:01am on Friday and release the product to those who wish to buy it.
So go see the 8pm or 9pm show of Iron Man, then come across the freeway
to Artifex for some more fun.

SATURDAY at 12:00 NOON is the official DCI Sanctioned Sealed deck
release event.  Plenty of room, so come by.  But do not miss out on the
special card for this one.  It is the Vexing Shusher foil, which is one
of the top 2 cards in this set.  It will just about pay for your entry
fee.
