Don't forget, regionals are this weekend, and there are only a
couple of reminders:
1) Saviors of Kamigawa *WILL* be legal, so bring 'em if
you got 'em. The other legal sets are 8th Edition,
Mirrodin, Darksteel, Fifth Dawn, Champions of Kamigawa and
Betrayers of Kamigawa.
2) "Regionals" means "Within your region", so address
restrictions will be enforced. That means if you live
in San Diego County (or -ish) you can only compete in
the "New Southwest Regionals" (aka San Diego Regionals).
If you live in Los Angeles County, you can only compete
in "Southern California regionals," etc. You might be
required to show proof of residence (driver's license,
phone bill, etc) to compete in a Regional tournament.
(I'll be the TO for the Regionals in San Diego, and I know
most of the players who live here, and I also know most of
the people who live outside of San Diego :) A good rule
of thumb is look at the complete list of regionals and
pick the one closest to you.
A complete list of Regionals Tournaments can be found at:
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=events/regionals/us
Unfortunately, players who live in Mexico cannot play in any
Regionals tournaments in the US.
3) Bring your DCI Number, decklist, and a reliable method of
keeping track of your life total!
4) The most important reminder is to have fun!
