Description

San Diego Poker Club is a fun and friendly group that meets in North San Diego County for a social but competitive game of No Limit Texas Holdem'. Our group was started by several local poker players who wanted an alternative to the fast-paced, super competitive and unfriendly casino atmosphere.

Our home games offer a relaxed environment where you can meet some new friends and sharpen your skills at NL Holdem'. Membership is limited to men and women in their 30s and 40s -- intermediate to advanced players.

San Diego Poker Club uses 13.5 gram casino quality chips, cardroom quality plastic cards, a premier poker tournament management software - "Tournament Director" and quality poker table tops for a real poker tournament experience.

BUY-IN/ENTRY FEE: $25 ($20 buy-in + $5 bounty on each player.) It is important to note that no one makes money, other than the buy-in payout, at any of our events. 100% of our tournament fees are paid out each night and no rakes of any kind are collected.

FOOD/DRINK: BYO favorite beverage and snacks. Pizza orders are taken at registration time ~ Bring $5 if you want to participate.

TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS: The top 10 players will compete for the TOC jackpot ~final date TBD.**Must play in 5 out of 10 games of the season to qualify.**

MEMBERSHIP APPROVAL: Since we host our games in member's private homes, we require that you include an intro about yourself, full name, age and phone # when submitting your request for membership. You agree to comply with all published club rules/procedures. We reserve the right to ban members at the discretion of the club directors.
