Woot, finally found the paper on which I had 'em all written down! I was typing
the earlier
list from memory. Here are some Tropes I missed:
Macross Missile Massacre:
Burn 5. Your Attacks this round are tripled and unblockable.
Proportional Fighting Capabilities:
Your Attacks and Defense are multiplied by the number of your opponents.
The Only One Allowed to Defeat You:
Choose an opponent. Your Energy cannot fall below 1 in a round during which you
were
not attacked by that target.
Hand Wave:
If your Energy drops below 0, state a genre-appropriate Hand Wave phrase and
return with
Energy equal to Hand Wave's Prevalence.
Killed Off for Real:
All Tropes which defy death in any way automatically fail.
Cutscene Power to the Max:
Secretly choose a number, X, from 1 to 10. During round X, multiply your
Attacks by X and negate Attacks below this Trope's Prevalence.
Red Shirt (FLAW):
Subtract your Defense from your Attacks and vice verse (minimum 0) before
calculating
any modifications due to other Tropes. You die at a round number equal to this
Trope's
Prevalence.
Battle Aura:
Spend X to start glowing, adding 2X to your Attacks starting next round and
ending when
you receive damage.
Also, I had better versions of BFS and IPOS on the paper...
Big Effing Sword:
You may never spend more on Defense than Attack. You gain a +20 bonus to Attacks
which disappears below 20 Energy.
Infinity Plus One Sword:
Burn 5 Energy each round upgrading the IPOS. When you first drop below 1 Energy,
you
instantly return with 2 times the total Energy you Burnt for the IPOS and all of
your Attacks
are quadrupled.
Now for some of the more unique Tropes I've created to be adapted into a flavor
that
better suits Powers...
Invulnerable and Suicidal: (from Who Wants to Live Forever?)
Your Starting Energy is your minimum Current Energy, regardless of the effects
of damage,
Powers, or even Burning. You do finally manage to kill yourself at the beginning
of the
11th round, though: set your Energy to -1.
(Like poor Mr. Immortal...)
Untapped Cosmic Power: (from Infinity Plus One Sword)
Burn 1 Energy each round. On the round that you would be defeated, you instantly
return
with Energy equal to your Starting Energy and all your Attacks are multiplied by
the total
amount of Energy you Burnt for this Power.
Careful Planning: (from Cutscene Power to the Max)
Secretly choose a number, X, from 1 to 10. During round X, your Attacks are
multiplied by
X and you may negate Attacks below Careful Planning's Power Strength.
Outnumbered, Not Outgunned: (from Proportional Fighting Ability)
Multiply your Attacks by the number of opponents you face.
Resistant To Overkill: (from Hand Wave)
If your Energy drops below 0 at any time, you immediately return with Energy
equal to this
Power's Power Strength.
Minion of Death: (from Killed Off for Real)
Any Powers which defy death or defeat automatically fail (except for your own,
of course).
Perpetual Motion Device: (uh...actually, I just thought it was cool)
Burn Energy to store it in the Perpetual Motion Device. Each round, the Device
grants you X
Energy or Attacks a target of your choice for X, where X is the total amount
stored in the
Device (up to the Device's Power Strength).
Signature Move: (from Beam Spam)
You gain a bonus to Attacks equal to the number of Attacks you've launched so
far.
Powerless Might: (from Badass Normal)
Discard all your Powers other than this one and gain Energy equal to three times
the sum
of their Power Strengths. Then, discard this Power.
